Collection of children |
All children must be signed in and out of each playsession. Please inform
the playleader if someone other than yourself will be collecting your
child from play group on a particular day.
Please also inform the playleader if there is someone who is not allowed
to collect your child.
 |
General |
Non-specific medicine e.g. Calpol will not be administered
by staff in sessional centres.
For procedures in administering prescribed medication please see the
full Health & Safety Policy. |
|
 |
Illness |
If your child is ill, do not bring him / her to the playgroup. Coughs
and sneezes spread very rapidly through the play group. If your child
has an infectious illness, please keep him/her away from the group until
the infectious period is over.
The following guidelines are for the minimum periods of exclusion –
the doctor in attendance may in some cases desire longer exclusions.
| |
Chicken pox |
10 days from onset of rash. |
| |
Measles |
4 days from onset of rash. |
| |
Rubella |
4 days from onset of rash. |
| |
Mumps |
Until the swelling has subsided, but not less than seven days
from the onset of symptoms. |
|
 |
Start and finish time |
Please do not leave your child in the playroom before
the start of the session – the playleader and helpers are
setting out equipment at this time and cannot be responsible for
unaccompanied children.
If you are late in arriving please inform the playleader of your
childs arrival, so they can be marked as present on the register.
Please return to collect your child promptly at the end of the play
session.
